    Cheeky Reaper's Matt and Sue in awe of Carnglaze Caverns.A notorious pirate crew gathers for one last dinner off the rugged coast of the South West, where jagged cliffs guard hidden coves and the sea whispers its ancient secrets.

    After years of plundering the high seas, they’ve returned to British soil to divide their stolen fortune in peace, hidden away in a secret cavern in Cornwall.

    But as night falls and storm clouds roll in from the Channel, old rivalries and dark curses begin to surface, turning the feast into a deadly game of suspicion and betrayal.

    Lantern light flickers across salt-crusted faces and scarred hands, as tankards clash and tales of glory turn bitter. Amid the crash of waves and howl of wind, one among them harbours a grudge sharper than any cutlass, a secret that could drown them all in blood before the treasure chest even opens.

    The Plot

    A ruthless slasher is terrorising the city in the 80s and their victims all share one thing in common: every murder happens at an exclusive dinner party.

    When the trail of blood leads nowhere, unconventional undercover cop Dirk Lovelady decides to set the perfect trap.

    His bait? A grand dinner unlike anything the city’s elite has ever seen.

    As champagne flows, tension simmers beneath the silverware. Every guest hides something, every toast could be their last, and somewhere beneath the laughter, the killer waits to strike again.

    Before dessert is served, Dirk must unmask the murderer – or become the final course in their deadly feast.

    The Plot

    It’s Paris, 1921, and after years of silence and ashes, the Moulin Rouge rises once more from the embers of tragedy.

    As the city dances into the jazz age, its famed red windmill spins again – promising glamour, freedom, and resurrection.

    Behind the music and glitter, however, whispers of sabotage linger. A new starlet’s sudden disappearance threatens to unearth secrets long buried beneath the stage.

    In this world of smoke, sequins, and shadows, everyone has something to hide – and the show must go on.

    But the festivities take a dark turn when someone is killed, turning the town’s moment of triumph into a tragedy.

    Sheriff Underwood and his bumbling Deputy Cletus must now navigate a web of secrets and lies to find the killer before their small town is derailed for good.

    Join us for a slap up three-course dinner from The Himalayan Spice and a night of intrigue as Liskeard Library hosts its first murder mystery – The Ghosts of Christmas Past

    Charles Dickens, having travelled to the westcountry to visit his ailing father, finds himself in lodging at a quaint village inn.

    It is the lead up to Christmas, and the inn is alive with festive cheer, hosting a lively Christmas party. The party is organised by the warm-hearted and jovial inn manager, Mrs Fezziwig, who is determined to bring joy and community spirit to the village during the holiday season.

    As the carols ring out and the villagers laugh and feast, the mood is abruptly chilled by the entrance of the miserly Mr Gripewell, the stern owner of the inn.

    Determined to appease Mr Gripwell, the staff try to melt his frosty heart with Christmas spirit but a murder silences the revelry.

    With suspicion thick in the frosty air, Charles Dickens must uncover the ghosts of the past that some of the guests are hiding and in a night where joy and dread collide, who will survive Christmas at the inn?

    Upon booking you’ll receive an email with a link to a form which we need you to complete with your menu selction for the night. If you are booking on behalf of others you will need to do this for them too.

    Seating on the night will be ‘feast style’ and unreserved. Be ready to make a new friend!
